A little about me...

My name is Monique, and I grew up in So Cal. I was always surrounded by culture and food and honestly didn't appreciate it until adulthood. Fast forward to meeting my husband and becoming a wife I cooked quick and easy meals. Think hamburger helper and lots of seasoning salt baked chicken. I was doing my best ya know. 

After I had my babies my mother-in-law, Cande helped us out with childcare and home-cooked meals. I refused to learn because I saw cooking as such a chore...then we moved halfway across the country to Texas and well the rest is history. So here I am sharing baking and cooking recipes with my homegirls. Let's learn together.
